Immunofluorescence in Dermatology
Immunofluorescence is mainly involved in both investigating physiologist of skin disorders and diagnosis of various cutaneous disorder. Immunofluorescence is especially true in sub epidermal bullous diseases that often have overlap in the clinical and histology findings. Direct Immunofluorescence is performed on perilesional skin for patients with bullous diseases and lesional skin for patients with connective tissue diseases and Vasculitis.
